Die Panke

The Panke is a multifunctional creative room. It is a meeting place for artists from a wide variety of disciplines and, as a hub of the growing art and cultural scene in the Wedding district, promotes artistic work across disciplinary boundaries. Numerous art exhibitions and events have already been successfully realised in the Panke, with the aim of presenting a broad spectrum of artistic works to the public: from installations, sound and video art, to more traditional art forms, to street art, interactive media art and performances. The music events are of great importance for the Panke in two respects: on the one hand, they provide musicians and DJs of different genres with a platform to win over an audience, regardless of their level of popularity; on the other hand, they also create a forum in which the various communities come together in Wedding.
