Centrifuga is a collective term for a diverse mixture of raw culture craftsmen based at the Ostkreuz in Berlin. The space offers Jekami! Workshops (Anyone can join in!) for screen printing, music, upcycling of decoration, costume & performance (Gogo Trash), 2D and sound animation. Centrifuga was founded in 2001 by the association Unter Druck Kultur von der Straße e.V. in the Berlin Mitte region in order to expand the portfolio towards graphic arts as a measure for adult education and to create new studio spaces for creative education for the homeless and socially excluded. Based in Friedrichshain since 2010, the company has made an international name for itself as a place for social and cultural exchange.
